Very useful for finding out if a game works on linux or not

Handy!

I don’t play on my steam deck as much as I’d like.. (I have a gaming computer) but when I do, this app is so nice for seeing how well the games run on the steam deck. I feel like the one that comes with steam is decent but I feel it lacks transparency on how well it actually runs.. where the app tells you more detail on how it works. Plus the comments people post about how well it works or tweaks, is super helpful! Thanks for making this app!

Just get it..

Hands down one of the best apps I have ever found/used in the app store. This and DeckSettings by the same developer. If you have this you need to get DeckSettings as well! I almost never leave reviews unless I'm irritated with an app but both of these apps are awesome if you have a Steam Deck!

I really like the app. Very handy for one place to view my Steam wishlist, ProtonDB, and options for purchasing games. Good on the developer for coming up with this app! I also look the look of it - clean and pops with game pics.

Great app

Everything at one place nice..an option to add future releases and dlc to wishlist would be great.

Great app especially for other Steam OS devices (Legion S, Bazzite etc) Would love to track achievements if possible. But thanks for the great work.

For a $5 App, it saved me 100's of dollars and several hours of manual research. As a steam deck only gamer I spend alot of time doing research on every game that gains my interest, like going to protonDB website, googling the play time of each game, googling if its actually playable by reading reviews, and Instead of doing all that manually, i can now simply-- wishlist a game -- grab my phone -- open up DeckFilter and BAM everything i need is right there. You cant hide games from library though

It Does A lot

This app does slot of stuff that would’ve had me opening a bunch of tabs in Chrome and the Steam app to check everything. It’s awesome how it’s all at your fingertips now and easily seen at a glance from ratings of how it is on the Deck to prices and your wish list too.

Fantastic app. Perfect for helping me keep track of my backlog and helping me find the right games to play at the right time. I just finished a 90 hour game and now I want a few short ones... the app can help me search that up, it has HLTB integrated. It will also tell you how well a game works on the deck since it's hooked up with ProtonDB. Just an all around helpful app for super cheap and the dev is always working to make it better. Def worth it.

Really love this app! It is super user friendly and displays all necessary filtering data in a very organised way with everything only a couple taps away! The only thing I wish it would include is the ability to show non steam games that you may have in the decks library so you can have access to organising all the titles you may have on the deck from different launchers /sources. This feature would make the app extra epic allowing you to deal with the entire deck backlog regardless of platform.

Very much worth the money!

Grabbed this after seeing it on deckready channel. It’s pretty fleshed out already and seems to have a promising roadmap. Definitely worth the £5 and I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves in the future. Good work buddy 😊👍🏻

Very handy app

Saw this recommended on a YouTube vid, so thought I’d give it a look. It’s a really useful companion app to check Deck compatibility and recommended settings for games. It’s great for browsing your library and wishlist and planning what to play next. A couple of handy features would be a button to mark games as completed so they don’t get recommended as “what to play next” etc. Also something related to control configs/community layouts would be awesome too. Fantastic app overall though, it’s a great companion to the steam app and Deck.

The app is my go-to when working out what to play for the evening and its features mean I don't have to have my deck on me to check how long it takes to beat a game or how a game runs on the deck. The dev is friendly and helpful, I highly recommend DeckFilter.

Great Paid for app. Had some issues when I first got it but the way the data sync functions has been fixed and improved.

I love this app! There are apps for organizing (and playing) music, organizing (and reading) books, but Steam's app, while great at letting me play games, sucks at the organizing part. DeckFilter is the secret sauce that scratches the organizing my games itch.

I have set a goal to work through all games in my library, putting at least 30 minutes into every single one. Deckfilter is the definitive way to say "give me a random game in my library that I haven't played, is high regarded, and runs well on the Steam Deck." I don't know I will ever be able to finish my goal, but this app is an invaluable tool in that journey. To top it off, the dev is amazing. He is constantly adding new features/improvements and is very receptive to feedback. Must have app!

Deck filter made it so I could stop using decky plugins. Decky is cool but I got tired of crossing my fingers and praying over every single update.

I just started using the app. So far I love it. Here is why I bought the app. I had a lot of this data on my Steam Deck, but there were some issues doing things that way. The interface when launching games was glitchy looking. (Still worked fine though) The second issue is they all stopped working when I went to the beta channel. Third is that I can't check recommended settings easily while in game. *Update* After 8 months of use, I still love this app!

Love the idea!

I love the idea of of this as steam doesn’t offer a clean experience when looking at info on your games quickly. You have to go back and forth between library, scroll round up and down etc. this makes it easy and fun to use. The only thing I would ask for is more filter options for games in my library. Having an option to see which games support Linux, windows or apple would be great. As someone who wants to get into Linux I was hoping to use this app to see if I would be happy switching to Linux as a gamer. Other than that great work!

DeckFilter is a really nice way to explore a large library, and to surface forgotten games from your pile of shame. The developer is also super responsive and helpful!

Great App for Downsizing Backlog

This app beautifully integrates ProtonDB and HLTB, making this info available at a glance. If you have a massive steam library or wishlist, then the app will aid you to make play/purchase decisions. Would have loved to see functionality to search games on steam. Which isn’t on the roadmap currently. I was pretty happy to see the roadmap, as you can anticipate what to expect in the short-term future. Would have given 5 stars if there was a search functionality.

Love it but make a filter option. I cant filter multiplayer in my wishlist, I have to add all tag except multiplayer. If I miss out filter option, please tell me. So far the app is good and will always use it.

Wonderful app

This is a great app. I use it nearly daily and I’m looking forward to seeing how this app develops over the course of the next year or so.

Fast, useful

The third-party integration (ProtonDB, HLTB etc) are really helpful, and the app is very responsive even with my oversized library (too many bundles…). It’s faster and easier to browse my collection here than on the Steam UI itself, even on desktop. Onboarding was a little brittle, I did have to disable auto-lock to keep the app on long enough for the first library import to finish. I’ll also note I found a tiny issue (a typo) and e-mailed the developer, who was friendly and responsive.

Love the app

I got this app after a YouTuber recommended it, it’s very stable and would like to see it expanded to more platforms including gog, epic, etc.

This app is one of a kind, and it works well. Certainly beats the Steam app itself in most ways. I love the new Steam API integration so I can keep my profile private. Excellent work!

Es ist schon seit langem mein Wunsch als „Decker“, zu sehen welche Apps mit dem Steam Deck kompatibel sind bzw. ob sich am Verifizierungs-Status etwas verändert hat. Mit dieser App ist dies ein leichtes. Ich habe meine gesamte Bibliothek im Überblick, habe verschiedene Filter die ich individuell einrichten kann und habe sogar die Möglichkeit mich auf nützliche Seiten wie ProtonDB, PCGamingWiki und viele weitere umleiten zu lassen, um mich dort mit Informationen belesen zu können. Für mich macht die App schon alles richtig und wie ich der Roadmap entnehme, ist noch so einiges in Planung. Sehr gute App, sehr gute Funktionen, sehr gute Arbeit - sehr zu empfehlen und das Geld mehr als wert!

Nifty!

I really like this app, it has all the info I want, not just for steam deck but also for pc gaming. The one thing I’d like added is the ability to search the steam store in the app, even if it’s just a web link.

Being able to filter games in your library by length is great, been looking for this in an app.

A Steam Deck’s best friend

DeckFilter is great. The developer has been constantly improving the app over time. It’s gotten faster and steadily had more features that users have requested added. It’s well worth grabbing DeckFilter if you have a growing steam library and need help to play. You can search your library almost every which way I can think of.

Very useful app for Deck Users

Amazing app. Developer is quick to respond and works hard to keep the app updated. Wishlist recently stopped syncing and always results in an error though that is being worked on.

Great app to randomly pick what I'm playing. Getting a weird error when trying to access the wishlist. "Error fetching wishlist data: Unexpected token ', "<!DOCTYPE "... is not valid JSON" Haven't figured it out yet but I'm sure devs will work it out.

Been using the app for many months now and really like it. I find it more useful than jumping back and forth between steam and hltb when I want to see what games to play next. The integration of steams wishlist was also great but as of writing this it no longer syncs so it isn't very useful but it was great when it worked! Hope to see more useful features get added on the future

Lost my Steam Deck

I left my Steam Deck in an Uber and was not able to recover it. But I still use this app almost every setting suggested for the Steam Deck translates into a good experience on my Ally X ( running Bazzite)

There's only one thing missing from this to make it five stars for me. A way to keep track of games that we've beaten and Mark them as such manually. That way the filter is more accurate.

Great but…

Hello, the app is great but it missing a crucial feature for me. I have sorted my Steam library to different categories. Eg. I marked my games as favorite if this is a more important title for me or I created a collection of games waiting for my free time to play as soon as I will be able to. It will be super super cool if I can filter games in DeckFilter with respect to the fact if the game is marked as favorites or is part of certain collection. Great job with the app!

Hey guys it says no internet connection but I'm using Wi-Fi to sync my library is it because I have nothing there or something I brought the app from play store I don't have nothing in my library any way to skip that part? Update: IT WORKS TREMENDOUSLY!!!

Great app that makes it pretty seamless with the the steam deck. Love all the information it gives you for each game. It has it all in one place to tweak the game settings if you need to.

This is pretty good so far. I use it daily to browse games for Deck. Added settings recommendations and how long to beat info is nice too.

Update: The app is great. The recent update has fixed my issues with thea app. That being it could not load my library, and would be unresponsive while trying. Works great 👍

This gives all of the necessary information needed to make informed decisions on what to play next. Especially if you have a burgeoning library from humble bundle and not really sure what they are.

Great start but could use more features.

Useful to view your library and has good filters as well as integration with how long to beat. Would like to see additional features which would make this a 5-star app: 1. Ability to hide games on the list 2. Custom lists 3. Ability to interact with game cards with left/right swipe and possibly long press (for e.g to hide or bookmark or add to custom list) Also, I recommend adding info to the onboarding experience to tell users that they can make their hidden games in their steam library not show up in this app by making them private. We all have that long list of humble bundle games or impulse discount purchases that we are embarrassed about and never want to see again. I hide them on steam but this app still syncs those games unless they are marked as private on steam.

Really cool, worth it for sure. Makes navigating my backlog a breeze, mostly binging story games on my deck and all the info I need like settings / how long to beat etc is all right there. Idk if it’s already on here but steam guides should be incorporated, as I use those a lot ahaha but that isn’t a downside. Love it!

Worth the download and asking price for any Steam Deck User. The UI is clean, easier and more accurate to view compatibility than Steam. The YouTube links are super helpful as I tend to look up gameplay that way. So it saves a lot of time. Quick settings to apply to games on my steam deck are extremely helpful. Saw the roadmap to integrate IsThereAnyDeal to find the best deals for our wishlist. So the dev is making great updates. The app does what it sets out to do and does it well.

This app is a necessity for those with large steam libraries and have lots of unplayed games. There are filters in place that allow you to show unplayed games and set other factors like positive reviews etc. I’ve already found games I forgot I had. Love the bookmark feature to ‘save’ these games so you don’t forget about them when looking for something new to play. As a steam deck user it also links to sites that give optimal settings for best performance. This app is well worth the asking price

This is such a useful App. Gives help how to tweak graphics levels for games that the deck struggles with. Automatically rates how the games you buy on steam will play on deck and best settings. Dev very responsive to the community really helpful. thanks

This app is amazing! And it definitely out beats the official Steam App. it has its flaws but could be well improved and could have better features, It is very useful when it comes to HLTB and SteamDB and i love how it shows the current game compatibility and how you can put your games in the bookmarks tab, I look forward to how much updates this app will get. 5 BEAUTIFUL STARS

Works amazing love the app

Must have if you have a Steam Deck. Also must have if you have a big library and don't want to search for hltb or protondb rating for each game. Also if you play games on Linux. Also if you have a Steam account.

This app has been a godsend for me, I play my Steam Deck alot and this has made my experience even better. Especially with the integration of the Game Settings feature, I had problems with God of War on my Deck(even though it is verified) but this has helped me with the best settings to run the game properly! Hope this app gets better and better in the future, especially with that roadmap!

Got this almost immediately after I got my Steam deck and it has been a god send! Can’t wait to see how the dev takes the app for years to come!

Great app for filtering through my steam library and picking out the next game to play, really like how you can go straight to game settings websites for the steam deck it saves so much time in getting a game going with the best settings.

Game Changer

I really wanted an app like this, I even debated writing one myself, but the quality of this app is beyond what I could’ve ever expected. I expect this app to be my go to for Steam Deck compatibility and HLTB checks going forward, the convenience is unparalleled.

Awesome app with great cross services integration

So far, I love the app, but currently, a nasty bug distracts from it being perfect. During setup, when clicking on sync on any of the buttons, the screen doesn't update until I force close the app and reopen it. I noticed the same thing when I loaded up the app today: It said I had new games I had just purchased, but when I searched for them after the sync was completed, they weren't there. I force-closed the app, reopened it, did the search, and my game showed up. If this bug gets fixed, I will change my rating to a five. UPDATE: still waiting on a fix for the updates not reflecting until app restart. I would like if there was an option to sort by recently added. I have a lot of games and after purchasing a game I want to use this app to easily see what I just bought but instead I have to search for it. Recently I bought a bunch of games and couldn't remember the titles names but if I could order them by recently added I could see all of them quickly and easily. UPDATE 2: The syncing issue and initial setup has been overhauled and is much improved, bumping my rating to a 4 from 3. I hear more and better sorting options are coming. When we get those I'm bumping my review to a 5

Wouldn’t sync originally but it has been fixed

I wasn’t able to get my library to sync after several failed attempts. However, the devs reached out and fixed the issue! Now the app works perfectly! Great job and a great app for steam deck users!

That's a really nice app! Do you plan on adding steamdb,info to be able to check the price (for example all time low) or different similar metrics?

App seems great. Could you please add a way remove games or somehow mark as complete... I'd love to see a way for games I've completed to be separate from other games

Amazing start

As someone with a large backlog this is what I needed to manage the games I want to play next. Being someone that mainly plays on handheld, having all of the info I need compiled into one app really helps me get back into games faster. Great start and I can’t wait to see what’s next.

I really love it, I just wished for a sort by user rating feature, but as the roadmap states there will be metacritic integration, I guess it will come with a similar feature. —— Wirklich großartige App, ich wünschte nur man könnte nach Userbewertungen sortieren, aber laut Roadmap wird es Metacritic Integration geben, also denke ich wird sowas oder etwas ähnliches folgen.

Valve could learn from this

A very simple app. It does only a few things but it does them very well. Really quick set up and pretty intuitive to use. This is my new favorite way to review my library.

Exactly what I needed

This app is a god send. I’m having to look at my library and reference different sources before I can decided to play a game or not. This app solves all that very nearly. Highly recommended for anyone with a big library and little time to play

It is definitely a nice app for those with lots of games looking to sort through them by various means such as: how long they'll take to beat, type of game, and Steam Deck compatibility among others. This app works well and haven't had any issues, a little steep of a price at $5, but it certainly will get lots of use (at least in my case).

Great start

If I could add anything, it would be sort by steam user reviews. For me they’re a better indicator especially for games that get updates patches and expansions (and incompatibility, new issues, shut down servers, etc.) that drastically change the quality of the game from its initial review at launch. Having that easily crossed with hltb and deck/proton would be ace. Oh, and iPad full screen would be great but that’s not a deal breaker for how useful this thing is. —— Getting everything synced was a breeze. Having a new way to sort through my massive collection of games I imagine I had the time to play and then bring in info from deck/proton compatibility and hltb makes it so much more intuitive to build out some things I’d like to play next, whether it’s something I might sink hours in or feel like I can chip away at having more games I’ve played through their end.

The app still needs a bit of work, but there's a solid foundation and overall a great experience. I've been in contact with the dev about improvements and he's been super open and is working on a few of the issues. Also of the app feels slow or keeps crashing download the Google webview beta and that helps a ton!
