My name is Felix, and like many of you, I found myself with hundreds of games and limited time to play them. That is why I created DeckFilter for myself in the first place. It started as a side project, and I now hope it can become a go-to tool in the Steam Deck community.
DeckFilter would not be here without the inspiration and work from great projects like GGApp, SteamDeckHQ, ShareDeck, ProtonDB, and HowLongToBeat. I am also deeply thankful to Valve for the incredible Steam Deck. YouTube channels like Steam Deck Gaming, Gardiner Bryant, FanTheDeck, and DeckReady also fueled my passion and motivated me to take this step.
As an indie product, DeckFilter is self-built without external funding. Every decision can stay close to the user, free from corporate pressure or investor demands. Being independent lets me stay agile and keep improving the app based on real feedback from people who use it.
