SteamOS Compatibility Review

Steam uses these short lines to explain whether a game runs on SteamOS, is not supported, or has extra notes. This page keeps those lines in one place.

SteamOS checks are separate from the Steam Deck result lines, even though many of the notes look similar. They cover the SteamOS side of the compatibility report.

This is not Valve documentation. The wording is taken from Steam localization data and checked against a small set of live compatibility reports. The Steamworks links at the bottom are the official sources.
