Humble Choice May 2026: What to play on Steam Deck
Humble Choice May 2026 includes Diablo IV, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Crysis 3 Remastered, Heroes of Hammerwatch II, Nordhold, Rogue Waters, Cubic Odyssey, and Mini Settlers.
The Humble Choice May 2026 lineup is here, and honestly, this is a weaker month for me. There are big names in here, but not many games where I immediately think: yes, I need to redeem this right now.
This month includes Diablo IV, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, Crysis 3 Remastered, Heroes of Hammerwatch II, Nordhold, Rogue Waters, Cubic Odyssey, and Mini Settlers.
The awkward one is Diablo IV. It is obviously the headline game, but this month gives you a Battle.net key, not a Steam key. I know you can make Battle.net work on Steam Deck, but I really prefer having my games directly on Steam. For me, that makes Diablo less exciting than it would look at first glance.
If I keep anything from this month, it would probably be Crysis 3 Remastered. That one was already on my wishlist, and it feels like the cleanest Steam Deck pick for me: a known shooter, a remaster, and something I can imagine playing in short sessions without thinking too much about launchers or accounts.
The rest is more difficult. Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is probably the strongest game here on paper, but I do not know if I am in the mood for another long RPG right now. Heroes of Hammerwatch II, Nordhold, Rogue Waters, Cubic Odyssey, and Mini Settlers could all be nice smaller picks, but none of them were sitting on my wishlist. This is one of those months where I would rather check every game in DeckFilter before deciding what to redeem.

Small note for the cards above: Diablo IV is useful to compare through its Steam page, but the Humble Choice key is for Battle.net. That is exactly the kind of detail that makes this month less automatic for me.
