Humble Choice May 2024 on Steam Deck

This article looks at the May 2024 Humble Choice games with Steam Deck compatibility and playtime in mind.

May 2024’s Humble Choice has two very easy Steam Deck hooks: Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Hi-Fi RUSH. Amanda the Adventurer is the short curiosity pick, and the rest depends on what you already own.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Hi-Fi RUSH were the first games I checked for Steam Deck compatibility. Both are the kind of games that make sense handheld, just for different reasons: one is a long RPG, the other is a rhythm-action game I already enjoyed on Steam Deck.

For playtime, Amanda the Adventurer is the quick one, while Yakuza: Like a Dragon can become a long backlog game. That makes the month pretty easy to judge by how much time you want to invest.

I already played Hi-Fi RUSH on my Steam Deck, and it worked really well for me. I’m also interested in Yakuza: Like a Dragon for the story and RPG side. Amanda the Adventurer is the shorter one I would probably play between bigger games. I planned to give away some of the other games on the @DeckFilter Twitter account.
