Humble Choice June 2024 on Steam Deck

This article looks at the June 2024 Humble Choice games with Steam Deck compatibility and playtime in mind.

June 2024’s Humble Choice is a broad month: Risk of Rain 2, Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition, Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector, and A Guidebook of Babel all pull in different directions.

Risk of Rain 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector were the first games I wanted to check for Steam Deck compatibility. LEGO 2K Drive is the more casual handheld pick, if the performance and battery tradeoff work for you.

The time commitment is mixed. Risk of Rain 2 is easy to return to in runs, while strategy games and racing games depend more on whether you want that genre on Steam Deck right now.

I’m most interested in LEGO 2K Drive Awesome Edition and A Guidebook of Babel. One is an easy handheld racing pick, and the other looks like the kind of puzzle game I would rather play on the couch. I planned to give away some of the other games on the @DeckFilter Twitter account.
