The DeckFilter 1.12 public beta is open, with free beta access to the next DeckFilter update.
If you have been curious about DeckFilter but have not tried it yet, this is a good moment to jump in. The beta lets you try the next version before the regular App Store and Google Play release.
This is the public beta, not the final 1.12 release announcement. Once 1.12 ships publicly, I will write the regular release post with the full changelog and deeper feature walkthrough.
The beta is focused on a simple goal: help Steam Deck players turn a crowded Steam library or wishlist into a short list of games that actually fit tonight.
You can try new filters for SteamOS compatibility, Deck Verified status, ProtonDB tier, controller support, playtime, interface/audio/subtitle language support, achievement progress, prices, and skipped items.
Android note: after joining the beta, Google Play can take a few minutes to show the beta update. If the listing still looks unchanged, close and reopen the Play Store or check again shortly.
Why this beta matters
DeckFilter is built for the moment where you already own too many Steam games and still do not know what to play next.
Maybe you want something that works well on Steam Deck, has interface, audio, or subtitle support in your language, has controller support, still has achievements left, is short enough for the evening, or is currently discounted in your wishlist. The beta makes more of those decisions visible directly in the app.
Feedback is welcome, especially if you find broken sync behavior or strange Steam metadata. But you do not need to think of yourself as a tester to join. This is also a chance to try the upcoming version early.
What you can try in the beta
- New backlog filters for SteamOS compatibility, controller support, languages, and achievement progress
- Richer sync data for Library, Wishlist, Bookmarks, Steam metadata, store app types, and tricky delisted items
- Better browsing tools including saved default sorting, skipped Library items, Discover/report polish, and creator recommendation updates
- Cleaner sync behavior with less noisy repeated sync handling and better recovery for unusual Steam items
How to join the public beta
You can join on iOS through TestFlight, or on Android through the Google Play beta links below.

If you know someone with a big Steam backlog or a Steam wishlist that has gotten out of hand, feel free to share the beta with them too. The public beta is open, so it does not need to stay limited to existing DeckFilter users.
What happens next
Once the beta looks solid, DeckFilter 1.12 will move toward the regular App Store and Google Play release. That public release will get its own announcement post with the full feature walkthrough.
