Humble Choice August 2024: What to play on Steam Deck

This article looks at the August 2024 Humble Choice games with Steam Deck compatibility and playtime in mind.

August 2024’s Humble Choice is the month with Sifu, Blacktail, Gotham Knights, and a few smaller games around them. For Steam Deck, that means checking both action performance and whether the smaller games are enough value if you already own the bigger names.

The Deck compatibility info looks decent overall, but I would still check the games you care about most. Sifu and Gotham Knights are not the same kind of performance question.

Blacktail is the game I was most curious about because the dark fairy tale style looks interesting on a handheld. Sifu is the skill-check game, and Gotham Knights is the one where I would look closer at current Deck reports before getting too excited.

Personally, Blacktail is still my first pick from this month. The rest depends on how much action you want and how many of these are already in your library.
